Where it comes from

Unwavering Duty is a Trials of Osiris weapon. Trials is open on Friday-to-Tuesday weekends outside Iron Banner weeks, and Saint-14 focuses tiered Trials gear with Trials engrams, so a player can aim a Trials engram at this weapon.

What you get

Unwavering Duty on your account at Tier 3, 4 and 5, as you choose.
A perk roll of your choice: random perks, one perk you name, or a god roll with two perks you name.
With the random-perk choice, the Rolls slider sets how many rolls are farmed, from 1 to 30.

Requirements

An active Destiny 2 account.
Trials of Osiris needs SMS verification on the account and ownership of The Edge of Fate, Renegades or Destiny 2: The Collection.

Unwavering Duty FAQ

Which perks can I ask for on Unwavering Duty?

Any perk from the two trait pools above. A random roll takes whatever drops, a roll with one chosen perk targets a single perk from the list, and a god roll targets two of them.

What damage type does Unwavering Duty deal?

Solar. It is a Legendary Machine Gun, not an Exotic, and it uses Heavy ammo.

When is Trials of Osiris live?

Every weekend from Friday reset to Tuesday reset, except in Iron Banner weeks, when Iron Banner takes the slot.
