The Dawning is one of the seasonal events Bungie retired in update 9.7.0. Some of its rewards were kept, and Legendary Marks from Triumphs buy weapon engrams at the Tenet vendors; the Dawning engram lists Albedo Wing among its weapons and decrypts into a random one of them.

• The Dawning weapon engram at the Tenet of Bravery vendor is paid with Legendary Marks, which Triumph progress on the account earns.

Is the Dawning still running?

No. Bungie retired the Dawning in update 9.7.0, so Albedo Wing now comes from an engram at the Tenet of Bravery vendor instead of the event.

What is the Dawning Surprise origin trait?

It is the trait this glaive carries from the event: defeating targets awards a Dawning gift.

Can I choose the perks on Albedo Wing?

Yes, through the Weapon Perks option. With the two chosen-perk settings you tell the pro player which perk or perks you want, through the form entry Specify to a pro player. Rolls runs from 1 to 30.
