Deadlock is a Legendary Stasis Shotgun that takes the Kinetic slot and Special ammo. Its Precision Frame gives a recoil pattern that is more predictably vertical, and Update 9.7.0 made every Precision Frame weapon stun Barrier Champions. The tiered record unlocks an ornament named after the gun at Gear Tier 5.

The Deadlock pool

In the left column: Lone Wolf, Slideshot, Threat Detector, Offhand Strike, Quickdraw, Perpetual Motion and Surplus. In the right column: Closing Time, Opening Shot, Snapshot Sights, One-Two Punch, Vorpal Weapon, Fragile Focus and Master of Arms. One-Two Punch raises your melee damage for a short time when every pellet of a shot lands, and Threat Detector rewards close range: with enemies nearby the gun reloads faster and gains stability and handling. Instead of an origin trait this record has a stock column: Hand-Laid, Short-Action, Composite or Fitted.

Where it comes from

Deadlock drops from the Crucible Ops Gear engrams, which come in Tiers 1 to 5. In Crucible Ops the reward tier follows the match grade: C gives Tier 3, B gives Tier 4, A and above give Tier 5. Lord Shaxx also lists it for focusing, but his screen asks for the weapon to be unlocked in Collections and decodes up to Tier 4. An older version lists Glory matches in its Collections entry.

Deadlock FAQ

Why does the form ask about Collections?
