The power of Assassin’s Stride

Mobility Skills are always Shadow Imbued and carry increased potency. On top of that, a Lucky Hit effect gives a Mobility Skill that damages an Elite or a Boss a chance to trigger a free Shadow Imbuement explosion instantly. The chance and the potency are rolled values.

Affixes and gear details

With Lord of Hatred, Uniques carry fewer preset affixes, which leaves more room to chase a better combination. Since patch 3.1.0 every Unique drops with two fixed affixes, and on Assassin’s Stride they are Primary Core Stat and Skill Ranks to Shadow Imbue. It is class-locked: only the Rogue can equip it. A Unique Charm version exists, so the same power can also be placed in a Talisman charm slot. Unique items can be tempered, and since patch 3.1.0 Enchanting can alter the affixes of Unique and Mythic Unique items.

Drop rules

Since Season 15, every Unique item can drop from level 1 and in any difficulty, and Assassin’s Stride follows the same rule. Lair Boss loot tables weight certain Uniques toward each boss, and Mythic Uniques dropped by Lair Bosses are taken from that boss's own pool, apart from a small chance through their generic loot.
