A bigger and refilling Vigor pool

Your Maximum Vigor is increased by 50%, and killing an enemy grants you Vigor. While you have Ferocity, your new Poisoning effects last 33% longer.

The first two lines are an economy. A larger pool lets Core skills fire longer between refills, and kills pay some of it back. The third line applies only while at least one stack of Ferocity is up, and it affects new Poisoning effects.

Vigor, Ferocity and Poison

Vigor is the resource that Spiritborn skills spend, and its supply decides how often you can cast. Ferocity is a stacking Attack Speed bonus: each stack lasts 4 seconds. Poisoning is a damage-over-time effect that several Spiritborn skills apply, so the 33% longer duration helps the builds that lean on it. The ring always drops with a Poison Damage Multiplier, matching the same plan.

Against large groups the kill refill is the bigger effect; against a boss the larger pool and the longer poison carry the item.

Questions about Ring of the Midday Hunt

Only the Spiritborn.

No. The power says new Poisoning effects, so poisons already on a target keep their original duration.
