A totem that shares damage

Your Subterfuge Skills create an attackable Shade Totem for a few seconds. Any damage it takes is replicated onto surrounding enemies at 50% effectiveness.

The effect is treated as a Trap Skill, and you may only have 1 Shade Totem active at a time. Every Subterfuge cast therefore produces a target you can strike, with the hit spreading to the monsters nearby.

Subterfuge skills

Subterfuge in the game data covers Smoke Grenade, Dark Shroud, Poison Trap and Concealment. Treating the totem as a Trap Skill brings it under the Rogue's trap bonuses. Patch 3.1 fixed the dagger not copying damage-over-time effects and toned down Umbracrux and Arrow Storm interactions that dealt far more damage than intended. The dagger always drops with Weapon Damage and Maximum Life.

The one-totem limit means only a single totem shares damage at any moment. It is a dagger, so the off-hand stays available.
