Perfectly Measured

While the belt is more than half full, the gun fires 25% faster and each bullet loses 30% of its damage.
Once it drops below half, the gun fires 18% slower and each bullet gains 38% total damage.
In practice you open with fast, weaker fire and finish the belt with slow, heavy hits.

How it entered the game

Gear Shift was a reward of the Anniversary Event Pass and could also drop from Anniversary Caches during the event. It is the first Named weapon whose model differs from its normal counterpart, so it is easy to recognize in the field. Its flavor text reads: "Sometimes you gotta kick it into high gear!"
