Credits Farming

Bungie's item text calls the Credit the de facto currency of the Lawless Frontier, spent with the merchants of the Tharsis Bazaar. The Renegades seal has a triumph just for earning them, Make a Killing. Credits come from the frontier's Jobs (Bounty Hunt, Sabotage and Smuggle), Turf Wars and Invasions, and from Credits Lockboxes in three sizes that pay out when you exfiltrate successfully.

Jackpot asks for keycards and extractables, Gun for Hire for Contracts, and Salaried Mercenary for the Weekly Shipments that the three Syndicates hand out. They are related goals and not part of this order. A Dishonest Living covers objectives done while bounty hunting, smuggling and sabotaging, and Opportunist covers optional objectives.

• The amount of Credits you choose on the slider, earned on your account; Bungie's item data caps one Credit stack at 99,999.
• Normal, Express or Super Express speed.

• The Renegades expansion, which Destiny 2: The Collection includes, so that the Lawless Frontier is open.
• A character that can travel to the Lawless Frontier from the Director.

What can Credits buy?

Goods from the merchants of the Tharsis Bazaar, per Bungie's item text.

Are Credits tied to the Syndicates?

Reputation with the Syndicates comes from Dark Matter Ingots and Contracts, not from Credits; the Syndicate Reputation lot covers that.

Is the Frontier still open?

Yes. Bungie lists the Lawless Frontier among the current destinations.

What are Dark Matter Ingots?

A rare material found on Mars since its return, which can be donated to the Syndicates. They are a separate item from Credits.
