Roving Assassin explained

Each Spectral Blades hit or final blow you land before turning invisible restores more of your Super energy than usual.

When you leave invisibility next to an enemy, a cloud of weakening smoke bursts around you.

Source and role

In the game data the vest is listed as an Exotic engram or extremely rare world drop; the Cryptarch decodes Exotic engrams.

Spectral Blades is a Void Hunter Super, so the chest belongs in a Void loadout where invisibility is a core tool.

It sits in the chest slot, so it combines with any helmet, gauntlets or legs that are not Exotic.

More Super energy per blade hit flows back into Spectral Blades while the Super is running.

Gwisin Vest FAQ

What does the smoke do?

It is a cloud that weakens nearby enemies when you exit invisibility close to a target.

Why does the Super energy boost matter?

Blade hits and final blows land while Spectral Blades is active, so the restored energy goes back into the Super you are using.

Where does Gwisin Vest come from in the game?

In the game data the listed sources are exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops; the Cryptarch, Master Rahool, decodes Exotic engrams into Exotic gear.
