Abeyant Leap is Exotic leg armor for Titans in Destiny 2. Its perk, Puppeteer's Control, upgrades the Drengr's Lash aspect so it throws more projectiles that suspend harder.

Key facts

Subclass hook	Drengr's Lash aspect (Strand or Prismatic Titan)
Source in the game data	Exotic Armor Focusing; the game data marks it "Requires Destiny 2: Lightfall"
Armor stats	Weapons, Health, Class, Grenade, Super and Melee

Puppeteer's Control explained

The perk rebuilds Drengr's Lash around crowd control. Each use releases extra projectiles, and those projectiles home in on targets more aggressively and fly a longer distance than the standard lash does.

The suspend effect they apply is stronger, so groups of enemies stay under control. Every time you suspend a target you also earn Woven Mail, the Strand armor buff, which makes the leg piece defensive as well as disruptive.

Where the legs fit in a build

Drengr's Lash is a Strand Titan aspect that Prismatic Titans can also equip, so this piece pays off on those two subclasses. Strand unlocks through the Lightfall campaign on Neomuna, which needs the Lightfall expansion; Prismatic comes with The Final Shape.

Suspended enemies are easy targets for the rest of a Strand kit, so the legs suit players who like to control a room and then clean it up.

Abeyant Leap FAQ

Which subclass does Abeyant Leap need?

Strand or Prismatic. The perk modifies Drengr's Lash, an aspect of the Strand Titan that Prismatic Titans can also equip, so other subclasses leave the exotic effect idle.

What does the suspend do to enemies?

Suspended enemies are lifted and cannot act normally. With Puppeteer's Control equipped, suspending a target also grants Woven Mail.

Where does Abeyant Leap come from in the game?

In the game data its source is Exotic Armor Focusing, and Exotic Ciphers are used to focus Exotics at the Cryptarch.
