Hammer of the Gods explained

Kills with Thunderclap restore melee energy. When you use the melee, targets near you are struck by lightning and become jolted.

If you are amplified, the lightning strikes hit harder, so the gauntlets reward pairing with amplifying effects.

Play style

Thunderclap is an Arc Titan melee that Prismatic Titans can also equip, so the gauntlets belong to a Thunderclap melee build.

The jolting lightning makes the melee useful even in crowds, since several targets are hit at once.

Because Thunderclap kills restore melee energy, a fight with many weaker enemies lets you chain melees back to back.
