Winged Eclipse explained

Defeating targets charges cages of loyal moths that fly toward nearby enemies or allies once released.

You throw a cage with the grenade button. The moths release on impact, and when they reach an enemy they explode in a blinding blast, while those reaching an ally give a Void overshield.

Play style

The wraps are a team-support grenade: kill, charge, throw and cover a teammate with an overshield.

The blinding blast also gives cover when enemy groups are advancing.

Charging happens on kills, so the gauntlets scale with how fast you defeat targets, and a quick sequence of kills fills the cages sooner.
