Percussive Flames explained

The perk changes Burning Maul into one high-damage hammer slam that creates several cyclones of flame.

Consecration gets a matching change: its second slam also creates a cyclone of flame.

Notes

Burning Maul is a Solar Titan Super and Consecration is an aspect of Solar and Prismatic Titans, so the gauntlets need one of these abilities to matter.

The flame cyclones add area damage, which helps clear groups after the slam.

The slam is still your Burning Maul, so the perk changes how the hammer plays rather than how the Super is charged.

Because the second Consecration slam also creates a cyclone, a build with both abilities spreads flame over a wider area.
