High Priority explained

While a Trace Rifle is equipped, the helmet slowly reloads part of its magazine from your reserves, so the beam can stay on target longer.

Damaging a vehicle, a boss or a Champion with a Trace Rifle marks it. When an ally defeats a marked target you receive Special ammo, and your allies receive Heavy ammo.

Team angle

The ammo trade is aimed at fireteams: you mark the key target and the people finishing it benefit.

Special and Heavy ammo now arrive when their generation bars fill, so a bonus drop of either kind from a marked kill is a real gain.
