Barri-nade explained

Using your class ability does not drop a barricade at your feet. Instead the Light is channeled inward and you receive a grenade that raises a barricade where it lands, so you decide where cover appears.

Orbs of Power feed the effect: picking one up enhances your next Barri-nade, and the enhanced throw spawns more barricades on impact, which makes the chest a team-cover tool.

Playing around Arbor Warden

The perk replaces the ordinary barricade placement, so it suits players who want cover on demand in a boss fight or a held position rather than a wall at their own location.

Orb generation is the lever that powers it, so weapons and mods that create Orbs of Power also increase how often you get the stronger version.

Arbor Warden FAQ

Does Arbor Warden work with every Titan subclass?

The perk is tied to the Titan class ability, so it is not locked to one element. The grenade is created from your barricade, not from a subclass aspect.

How do I get the enhanced Barri-nade?

Pick up an Orb of Power. The next Barri-nade you create is the enhanced version and spawns additional barricades on impact.

Where does Arbor Warden come from in the game?

Its collection entry lists Exotic Armor Focusing as the source. Bungie's Help Center notes that Exotic Ciphers can be used to focus Exotics at the Cryptarch.
