Depths of Duskfield explained

Duskfield grenades gain a much larger effect radius. Allies standing inside receive Frost Armor, and enemies inside the area deal less damage.

That makes each grenade a control zone for a team, not just a slowing trap.

Context

Duskfield is a Stasis grenade, also on Prismatic Hunter. The Stasis subclass and the Beyond Light campaign are open to all players.

The wider area works for holding a point or protecting a revive.

Frost Armor on the allies inside the area makes the Duskfield a defensive tool on top of the grenade's own area control.

Duskfield is thrown like any grenade, which lets you place the larger area in front of a door, a revive or a boss spawn before a fight begins.
