Vengeance explained

The enemy that dares to damage you is highlighted so you can find them. Defeating that highlighted target gives you an overshield.

It is a simple loop that nudges you into taking the fight to the shooter instead of hiding.

Source and role

In the game data the mask is listed under exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops, and the Cryptarch decodes Exotic engrams.

Because no subclass is required, it is an easy slot-in for any Titan loadout.

Nothing needs to be lined up or stacked here: the highlight lands on whoever damages you and the reward is a plain overshield, which keeps the perk easy to use in any activity.

Highlighting the shooter also tells you where fire is coming from, which helps in loud fights with many enemies.
