Exotic Class Item

An exotic class item has two intrinsic trait sockets. A Spirit trait echoes the perk of an exotic armor piece in a short form. Spirit of Severance, for example, makes powered melee or finisher final blows unleash a damaging explosion, and Spirit of the Dragon makes weapons ready quicker and more stable while the class ability reloads your equipped weapon from reserves. The note on every trait says the randomly rolled perk is active while a Prismatic subclass is equipped, and not otherwise.

The collection entries of all three items give Exploring the Pale Heart as the source. The lot also has an Extras option named Unlock the Dual Destiny mission, and its requirements name the Dual Destiny exotic mission. Like the rest of your exotic armor, a class item counts toward the one exotic armor piece a character can wear.

• An exotic class item for the class set in Your Class: Titan, Warlock or Hunter.
• Two trait pickers for the chosen class, one for the attuned trait and one for the God Roll trait, each offering Random Trait or one of 16 Spirit traits.
• Extras with Unlock the Dual Destiny mission and Self-play (Sherpa), Completion Speed of Normal, Express or Super Express, and a Quantity from 1 to 20.

• The Final Shape campaign has to be finished on the account.
• The Dual Destiny exotic mission must be open to you, or add Unlock the Dual Destiny mission under Extras.

Do the traits work on every subclass?

The in-game note says the randomly rolled perk is active while a Prismatic subclass is equipped. With another subclass the traits do not take effect.

Which item does each class receive?

Titans get Stoicism, Warlocks get Solipsism and Hunters get Relativism. The class you select in Your Class decides which trait lists appear.
