Adamantine Brace explained

A perfect draw on a Bow can be held indefinitely. When you release, the Bow's damage gets a bonus based on how long the perfect draw was held, and Bows get a moderate airborne effectiveness benefit.

It rewards patience with a Bow, because how long you hold the draw is the main choice. The description on the item itself refers to a line from Sjur Eido saying true death has not been met yet.

Getting Oathkeeper in the game

The game's collection entry for Oathkeeper gives its source as exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops. Rahool decodes exotic engrams in the Tower, and the engram previews list this piece. A loadout holds one exotic armor piece, so Oathkeeper and a second exotic helmet, gauntlets, chest piece or boots cannot be equipped together.

What you get

Oathkeeper for the Hunter class, exotic gauntlets with the Adamantine Brace perk.
The Stat Options group offers None, High Overall Stats (65+) and six single-stat choices (Health, Melee, Grenade, Super, Class, Weapons), each 25+.
A Number Of Pieces selector (1 to 10) plus Completion Speed levels Normal, Express and Super Express.

Requirements

The Forsaken Pack on your account: in the game data, Oathkeeper carries the note "Requires Destiny 2: Forsaken Pack" on Xûr's offer of it. Destiny 2: The Collection includes it.

Oathkeeper FAQ

Can every class use Oathkeeper?

No. It is Hunter gear, and the gauntlets cannot be equipped on a Titan or a Warlock.

How long can I hold the draw with Oathkeeper?

As long as you like. A perfect draw can be held indefinitely, and the release bonus depends on how long it was held.

What do Stat Options change for Oathkeeper?

They add an optional target for the rolled stats: High Overall Stats (65+), or 25+ in one named stat. None adds no stat target.
