What Survival Well gives you

Your Super generates an additional Orb of Power. Generating a Barricade, or dealing sustained damage or defeating targets from behind one, creates a healing pulse, and healing your allies grants Barricade energy.

The perk circles around the Barricade: it starts the healing, and the healing pays Barricade energy back. The blurb printed on the piece points to a warning that anyone who survives their passing does so by their consent.
