What Touch of Venom gives you

Defeating a weakened target releases a burst of weakening smoke and refunds Void melee ability energy.

The target has to be weakened before the kill, which fits Void builds that already apply Weaken, and the kill hands the melee energy back. The blurb printed on the piece points to a wound that is not deep but is known to exist, and that is enough.

How to get Khepri's Sting

For Khepri's Sting the collection entry names exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops as the source. Exotic engram previews show the piece, and decoding those engrams is Rahool's job in the Tower. Equipping Khepri's Sting counts as your exotic armor piece, since the game allows one exotic piece of armor per character at a time.

Can I ask for a specific stat on Khepri's Sting?
