Embraced Identity

Its Adaptive Frame is described in game as "A well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy." Its origin trait, Dealer's Choice, works like this: Final blows with this weapon grant a small amount of Super energy. Equipping multiple weapons from the Pale Heart increases this effect.

Trait column one of Embraced Identity can roll Permeability, Destabilizing Rounds, Rewind Rounds, Opening Shot, Reconstruction, Attrition Orbs, Demolitionist, Withering Gaze and Vorpal Weapon. Trait column two can roll Fourth Time's the Charm, Redirection, Precision Instrument, High Ground, Moving Target, Box Breathing, Elemental Capacitor, Elemental Honing and Aggregate Charge. Every one of these trait perks has an enhanced version. The barrel slot offers eleven options and the magazine slot seven.

Collections names exploring the Pale Heart as the source of Embraced Identity, and the Pale Heart weapon focusing offered by your Ghost lists it alongside Pro Memoria, Bold Endings and The Call.

• Embraced Identity through the Weapon Perks option: a roll with random perks (1 to 30 rolls), a roll with 1 chosen perk, or a God Roll with 2 chosen perks.
• For a chosen perk you tell the pro player which perk you want, for example Permeability; for the God Roll you name two, for example Permeability with Fourth Time's the Charm.
• No Weapon Tier option: the current Embraced Identity has no gear-tier slot in the game data, so the copies come without a tier.

• An active Destiny 2 account.
• The Final Shape expansion, which includes the Pale Heart destination.

Can Embraced Identity be crafted?

A crafting pattern exists for it in the game data, and crafted weapons can reach Gear Tier 5 through Weapon Level Boost, as Update 9.7.0 describes.

What does a chosen perk mean for Embraced Identity?

With a roll with 1 chosen perk the pro player aims for one perk you name, such as Destabilizing Rounds; with a God Roll with 2 chosen perks you name two that must sit on the same weapon, such as Destabilizing Rounds and Elemental Capacitor.
