How the rifle plays

Cursebringer: precision final blows increase reload speed and trigger a Cursed Thrall explosion that inflicts corruption, and final blows with those explosions refill the magazine.
Desperation: reloading after a precision final blow or an explosion final blow increases rate of fire and improves stability and aim assist.
Fixed parts: Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds and a Hand-Laid Stock.
Corruption: Update 9.7.0 renamed the short, stackable damage over time to corruption, applied by Thorn, Touch of Malice and Necrochasm.

The raid around it

Crota's End is a Year 6 raid that Bungie lists among those open to every player. It pays seven Legendary weapons with the Cursed Thrall origin trait, the Crota's Memory armor with Cursed Fist and Power of the Son, the Exotic vehicle Crota's Exile and the Exotic ship War's Lament. Its Master tier is the Broken Throne triumph, and the title is Swordbearer.

What you get

Necrochasm from the raid.
Extras: Add Necrochasm Catalyst, Catalyst Masterwork, and Self-play (Sherpa).

Requirements

Crota's End, which is open to every player. A raid fireteam of up to six players.

Necrochasm FAQ

Where does the catalyst come from?

The record says to collect Essence of the Oversoul from the raid and its related triumphs.

Is the rifle Void or Kinetic?

Kinetic, with Primary ammo.

What did Update 9.7.0 fix for it?

Necrotic Grip now gives Necrochasm its bonus to airborne effectiveness, and corruption from Necrochasm no longer clashes with potent corruption from Osteo Striga or Necrotic Grip.
