Familiar, as an Enchantment and as a skill

You gain Familiar's Enchantment, and Familiar's Potency is increased. The Enchantment gives you the Familiar's effect without spending a slot, and the gloves also raise Familiar's Potency.

The Enchantment part works even if Familiar is not on your bar.

Familiar in short

Familiar is a Conjuration skill of the Sorcerer that uses charges. It summons a Fire Familiar that seeks out enemies and periodically explodes. The upgrades in the game data include Freezing Familiar, Fast As Lightning and Prismatic Familiar, which change its element, and a Bonus Effect upgrade that grants a benefit based on the type when the Familiar explodes. The gloves always drop with a main stat and an All Damage Multiplier.

The Familiar options that change its element are Fast As Lightning (Shock), Freezing Familiar (Frost) and Prismatic Familiar (Pyromancy, Shock and Frost). Familiar works with charges and a charge cooldown, so several Familiars can be summoned in a row. The skill starts with 3 charges; the Charge upgrade adds a fourth, and Duration Bonus keeps each Familiar 4 seconds longer.
