Key facts

Build focus	Single-target burst damage for raids
Exotic weapon	St. Elmo's Engine, exotic LVOA-C assault rifle
Exotic mask	Coyote's Mask: Pack Instincts gives you and allies crit damage up close and crit chance at range, by distance of the last hit
Gear set	Striker's Battlegear: Striker's Gamble stacks weapon damage with hits
Skills and specialization	Crusader ballistic shield, Reviver Hive; Gunner

How the pieces fit together

The raid role is to burst down elites and bosses. St. Elmo's Engine builds stacks on hits and then fires a magazine of shock ammunition, while Striker's Battlegear adds weapon damage for every consecutive hit. Coyote's Mask contributes Pack Instincts: you and your allies get a bonus that depends on the distance of the last enemy you hit, critical hit damage up close and critical hit chance at long range.

The build is the raid counterpart of the Striker PvE Build: Coyote's Mask replaces the Striker mask, a Česká Výroba chest replaces the Fenris one, and a Striker backpack replaces Memento.

What you get

St. Elmo's Engine exotic rifle and Coyote's Mask, with Striker's Battlegear pieces for weapon damage, crit chance and crit damage.
A Česká Výroba chest with the Obliterate talent, and mods for crit chance and crit damage.
Skill kit: Crusader ballistic shield and Reviver Hive; specialization Gunner.
'I have St. Elmo's Engine' skips the rifle; 'Add The Ravenous' adds the exotic dual-barrel rifle as a second weapon.
The upgrade group lists None, 'High-Stat Armor (95%)' (armor and mods rolled at 95% or higher) and 'Upgrade Gear to Prototype', the newest item quality, for the non-exotic pieces.

Requirements

Character level 40 with 100 SHD points or more.
For the Prototype options: each converted piece must be at level 40 and at maximum Expertise (level 30); exotic pieces are not converted.

Raid DPS Build: quick FAQ

What does Pack Instincts reward?

The distance to the last enemy you hit. Within 15 m you and your allies get +25% critical hit damage, at 15 to 25 m +10% critical hit chance and +10% critical hit damage, beyond 25 m +25% critical hit chance.

How does it differ from the Striker PvE Build?

The PvE build uses the Memento backpack and a different chest and mask; the raid build uses Coyote's Mask for group critical bonuses.
