Crota's End is the Hive raid from Year 6 of Destiny 2, and this lot defeats its two bosses, Ir Yut, the Deathsinger, and Crota, Son of Oryx, on the number of characters you pick, from one to three.

Key facts

Raid	Crota's End, added in Year 6 (February 2023 to June 2024); up to 6 players
Bosses	Ir Yut, the Deathsinger, and Crota
Weapons	Abyss Defiant, Eidolon Ally, Fang of Ir Yut, Oversoul Edict, Song of Ir Yut, Swordbreaker, Word of Crota
Origin trait	Cursed Thrall: after a melee defeat, final blows with the weapon cause targets to explode for a short time
Exotics	Necrochasm (Auto Rifle), Crota's Exile (vehicle), War's Lament (ship)
Raid armor	Crota's Memory: two-piece Cursed Fist, four-piece Power of the Son
Master tier	Broken Throne triumph; Conquest By Virtue for all Master-tier challenges
Title	Swordbearer

What the raid drops

Weapons: Abyss Defiant (Solar Auto Rifle), Eidolon Ally (Kinetic Auto Rifle), Fang of Ir Yut (Strand Scout Rifle), Oversoul Edict (Arc Pulse Rifle), Song of Ir Yut (Arc Machine Gun), Swordbreaker (Strand Shotgun) and Word of Crota (Void Hand Cannon).
Origin trait: Cursed Thrall, which makes targets explode for a short time after a melee defeat followed by weapon final blows.
Exotic: Necrochasm, plus the vehicle Crota's Exile and the ship War's Lament.
Armor: Crota's Memory, with Cursed Fist at two pieces and Power of the Son at four.

Hidden chests and the Hive

Crota's End also hides chests: the Spoils of Conquest triumph asks you to loot all of them, and Perfected Truth asks for every encounter without dying and without leaving the activity. Spoils of Conquest, the currency, is earned in raids, and Hawthorne takes ten of it per piece to focus the older Armor 2.0 raid armor.

Rewards by tier

Update 9.7.0 rewrote raid rewards. A raid in the weekly rotation pays Deepsight weapons or Tier 5 armor from encounters and challenges, a raid outside it gives a chance for Deepsight weapons and Tier 3 armor, and Master runs and challenges pay Tier 5 in both cases. The raid's Master tier has the Broken Throne triumph.

What you get

Crota and Ir Yut defeated on each character you choose.
Number Of Characters: 1, 2 or 3, one run for each character.
Extras: Self-play (Sherpa).

Requirements

Crota's End. Open to every player; no expansion is needed. A raid fireteam of up to six players.

Crota + Ir Yut Kill FAQ

Is Necrochasm certain to drop?

No. It is a rare raid Exotic, so a kill is a chance at it rather than a sure drop.

Which title belongs to the raid?

Swordbearer, earned through the Crota's End triumphs.
