How Deathbringer plays

Dark Deliverance fires remotely detonated projectiles that scatter Void orbs on combatants. You fire, then release the trigger to set the rocket off at the moment you choose.

The exotic frame, Dark Descent, makes the explosion stronger the further a Void orb falls, so detonating a rocket high above enemies gives the largest blast.

The launcher uses Volatile Launch for a bigger blast radius, Alloy Casing for faster reloads and a Composite Stock.

Quest and catalyst

The game data lists the source simply as an Exotic quest or challenge. The quest is Symphony of Death from Eris Morn on the Moon, and it is still listed in the Quest Archive. The lot offers it as a Full Quest or as a Quest Steps List with five selectable steps.

The Deathbringer catalyst adds Dead Weight, which makes Dark Descent ramp up to full strength sooner.

Deathbringer FAQ

Does Deathbringer need the Shadowkeep campaign?

The campaign is open to all players, and the lot lists a completed Shadowkeep campaign as a requirement. The Symphony of Death quest itself needs Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, sold today as the Shadowkeep Pack.

What do the Void orbs do?

They drop on combatants from the launched rocket, and the further one falls the more powerful its detonation becomes.
