Heirloom is the Solar Exotic combat bow of the Equilibrium dungeon in Destiny 2. It uses Special ammo and fires explosive bolts, and holding the aim overcharges the next bolt for more damage and a wider blast.

Trait	Bullwhacker: aiming overcharges the next bolt; more damage and area per charge level
Catalyst	Charged hits scorch; more damage to scorched targets; defeats spread scorch to nearby targets
Dungeon	Equilibrium, added in Year 8 with Renegades (December 2025)
Fireteam size	Up to 3 players
Triumph	Take a Bow: earn the Exotic bow Heirloom
Update 9.7.0	Charge rate, PvE charged-shot damage and damage versus champions and bosses raised; Incandescent added to the catalyst

How the bow plays

Bolt Thrower: the intrinsic. High-powered explosive bolts, strong against Unstoppable Champions.
Bullwhacker: aiming down sights for a while overcharges the next bolt, with more damage and area of effect for every charge level.
Fixed parts: Ultralight Rail, Light Heatsink and a Short-Action Stock, all tuned for handling.
Catalyst: direct hits with charged shots scorch the target and the bow deals more damage to scorched targets; a kill passes scorch on to enemies standing close by, and tougher combatants and rival Guardians pass it on over a bigger area.

Where it comes from

The collectible source is Equilibrium, and the catalyst record says it is acquired from the same dungeon. The Take a Bow triumph is completed by earning the bow. Update 9.7.0 buffed the bow, with a faster charge rate, stronger charged shots in PvE and extra damage against champions, minibosses and bosses, and it added the Incandescent perk to the catalyst.

What you get

Additional Options: None, Heirloom Catalyst, or Heirloom Catalyst + Masterwork.
