What Living Nightmares asks

The triumph text reads: complete all encounters in Root of Nightmares without any member of your fireteam dying. The raid has four challenge encounters, so the clean run has to hold from Illuminated Torment to All Hands.

Loot on the way

The raid drops Acasia's Dejection (Trace Rifle), Briar's Contempt (Linear Fusion Rifle), Koraxis's Distress (Grenade Launcher) and Mykel's Reverence (Sidearm) and more. Conditional Finality, a Shotgun, is the exotic. A raid that is not featured gives a chance at Deepsight weapons and Tier 3 armor on a standard clear, while Master mode, the challenges and the Deepsight chest give Deepsight weapons and Tier 5 armor.

The armor on offer

The armor is the Nezarec's Nightmare set, which gives Bad Dreams with two pieces (final blows on subclass-debuffed targets have a rising chance to spawn an Orb of Power) and Dream-Devourer with four (a finisher on a powerful combatant grants Devour, with damage resistance while it lasts). Update 9.7.0 made every pre-Edge of Fate raid and dungeon drop tiered armor with its own set bonuses. A Flawless clear is a full standard clear, so the chance at each piece is the normal one for a raid that is or is not featured that week.
