Forgiveness perks and traits

The two trait columns of Forgiveness draw from these pools. The left column can roll Voltshot, Demolitionist, Lone Wolf, Offhand Strike, Proximity Power, Tap the Trigger and Zen Moment. The right column can roll Adrenaline Junkie, Headseeker, Desperate Measures, Kill Clip, Precision Instrument, Surrounded and Loose Change.

Its origin trait can be Fleet Footed or Roar of Battle. Gear Tier is a ladder of upgrades: Tier 3 unlocks enhanced weapon mods, Tier 4 enhances the first two weapon components, and Tier 5 enhances the origin trait and unlocks the ornament and a Combat Flair.

Where it comes from

Forgiveness is a Trials of Osiris weapon. Trials is open on Friday-to-Tuesday weekends outside Iron Banner weeks, and Saint-14 focuses tiered Trials gear with Trials engrams, so a player can aim a Trials engram at this weapon.

What you get

Forgiveness on your account at Tier 3, 4 and 5, as you choose.
A perk roll of your choice: random perks, one perk you name, or a god roll with two perks you name.
With the random-perk choice, the Rolls slider sets how many rolls are farmed, from 1 to 30.

Requirements

An active Destiny 2 account.
Trials of Osiris needs SMS verification on the account and ownership of The Edge of Fate, Renegades or Destiny 2: The Collection.

Forgiveness FAQ

What damage type does Forgiveness deal?

Arc. It is a Legendary Sidearm, not an Exotic, and it uses Primary ammo.

Which perks can I ask for on Forgiveness?

Any perk from the two trait pools above. A random roll takes whatever drops, a roll with one chosen perk targets a single perk from the list, and a god roll targets two of them.

When is Trials of Osiris live?

Every weekend from Friday reset to Tuesday reset, except in Iron Banner weeks, when Iron Banner takes the slot.
