How Power works now

Power comes mainly from the Portal, the hub of activities that arrived with The Edge of Fate. The six difficulty settings there unlock as your Power level grows.
As a rule of thumb, the higher the difficulty, the better the gear, the Power level and the currencies.
There is no Power increase in Monument of Triumph, so the ceiling is the same as before it.
Powerful gear is anything that gives your Guardian a Power boost.

Note: Update 9.7.0 on 9 June 2026 was the last planned content update and left the cap at 550.

Why do I start at 10 after a long break?

Returning Guardians restart at 10 Power. The catch-up chest was removed in favour of natural drops at 300 and above.

Will the Power cap rise again?

Monument of Triumph did not raise it, and Update 9.7.0 was the last planned content update, so 550 is where it stands.
