The six weapons

Acasia's Dejection is a Solar trace rifle. Rufus's Fury is a Strand auto rifle. Briar's Contempt is a Solar linear fusion rifle. Mykel's Reverence is a Strand sidearm. Koraxis's Distress is a Strand grenade launcher. Nessa's Oblation is a Void shotgun. Each has a Pattern record in Bungie's data: completing Deepsight Resonance extractions on the weapon unlocks it, and Bungie says raid weapons also need Spoils of Conquest to use a Deepsight Harmonizer.

The raid

Root of Nightmares has four named encounters in Bungie's triumph list: Cataclysm, Scission, Macrocosm and the final fight against Nezarec. Its challenges are All Hands, Cosmic Equilibrium, Crossfire and Illuminated Torment, and the Dream Warrior seal asks for all of them on Master difficulty through Final Nightmare.

What you get

Five copies of the weapon you pick, from the six above.
Optional: five Deepsight copies of that weapon, a Conditional Finality add-on, a Day One Team and a Self-play (Sherpa) choice.
Completion speed is Normal or Express.

Requirements

The Lightfall expansion, which carries Root of Nightmares (The Collection includes it).
Deepsight must be unlocked for Pattern progress; the first Witch Queen missions that unlock it are open to all players.

Root of Nightmares Weapon Bundle FAQ

Why five copies?

Five is the fixed size of this bundle, and it matches Bungie's Pattern records for these weapons, which count five Deepsight Resonance extractions. Pattern progress comes from the Deepsight copies, which the Deepsight extra covers.

What does Conditional Finality add?

It is the raid exotic, a Stasis shotgun whose dual barrels split into Stasis and Solar damage.

Which seal belongs to the raid?

Dream Warrior, on Bungie's active Titles list, with 20 triumph records.
