Conditional Finality Catalyst

• A reload soon after a final blow gives you and the allies near you Cure.
• Breaking a Stasis crystal, or finishing a frozen target, with the shotgun gives you Frost Armor.
• The record for the catalyst asks you to defeat targets with the weapon, and Bungie's obscured text says it is found in either a raid or a dungeon.
• The masterwork extra completes the upgrade slot.

Root of Nightmares came in Year 6, the Lightfall era. It pays seven weapons including Acasia's Dejection, Briar's Contempt, Koraxis's Distress, Mykel's Reverence, Nessa's Oblation and Rufus's Fury, the Nezarec's Nightmare armor with Bad Dreams and Dream-Devourer, and the Exotic vehicle Dream Demon. Its four raid challenges are Illuminated Torment, Crossfire, Cosmic Equilibrium and a fourth called All Hands, and the title is Dream Warrior.

• The catalyst delivered for your shotgun.
• Extras: add Catalyst Masterwork, and Self-play (Sherpa).

• The Conditional Finality shotgun already on your account.
• The Lightfall expansion for the raid. A raid fireteam of up to six players.

Does the catalyst change the shotgun's elements?

No. The shotgun keeps its Stasis and Solar pellets; the catalyst adds Cure and Frost Armor effects.

Is the catalyst a separate drop from the weapon?

Yes. It is its own item with its own record.
