Dragon's Breath Exotic Catalyst

The catalyst unlocks the Pyromancer perk: the weapon replenishes fuel faster, and targets it defeats periodically drop Firesprites. Faster fuel plus Firesprite drops keep the fuel loop running between volleys.

The intrinsic of Dragon's Breath is Composite Propellant: rockets embed in what they hit and periodically eject incendiary fuel that scorches; the longer the launcher goes unfired, the more fuel the next rocket carries. High Octane: igniting nearby targets partly replenishes fuel, and the weapon refills itself from reserves when it reaches maximum fuel. The other fixed perks on the weapon are Volatile Launch, Black Powder and Short-Action Stock.

Banshee-44 runs the catalyst quest An Old Flame. The opening step asks for recreating the catalyst by defeating scorched combatants and bosses. After that comes a calibration step, defeating targets with Dragon's Breath while Ops activities add progress (Crucible wins give more), and the quest ends back at Banshee-44, who hands over the catalyst. The catalyst record counts 400 targets defeated with Dragon's Breath. Progress shows on the catalyst's record in the Exotic Catalysts section of the Triumphs screen.

• Dragon's Breath catalyst, unlocked and delivered to your account, without the masterwork step.
• Extras on the order form: Catalyst Masterwork.

• Dragon's Breath already unlocked on the account, because the catalyst is slotted into that launcher.

Is the masterwork part of the lot?

The catalyst is ordered on its own. The masterwork step is the extra named Catalyst Masterwork, so tick it if the catalyst should be masterworked as well.

How does Composite Propellant work on Dragon's Breath?

Rockets embed in what they hit and periodically eject incendiary fuel that scorches; the longer the launcher goes unfired, the more fuel the next rocket carries.

Where do I get Dragon's Breath itself?

Dragon's Breath is sold in the Exotic Archive at the Monument to Lost Lights, for an Exotic Cipher and Glimmer. Buying it needs Lightfall. The catalyst fits that weapon alone.
