Delicate Tomb Catalyst

Once installed, the catalyst gives the weapon Ionic Interment: collecting an Ionic Trace partly reloads the magazine from reserves. The rifle already produces Ionic Traces on final blows, so the catalyst turns each trace into ammunition.

The intrinsic of Delicate Tomb is Traitor's Vessel: hip-fired shots spread wide, and final blows can generate Ionic Traces (powerful foes and opposing Guardians always do). Tempest Cascade: Ionic Traces load a jolting round. The other fixed perks on the weapon are Fluted Barrel, Liquid Coils and Short-Action Stock.

Today the catalyst is a Banshee-44 quest called The Form of the Danger. The opening step asks for designing the catalyst by defeating targets with Energy-slot weapons and defeating tough combatants, where minibosses, bosses and Champions add extra progress. Then comes the calibration, defeating targets with Delicate Tomb through Ops activities, where Crucible wins count for more, and a final stop at Banshee-44 completes it. The catalyst record counts 700 targets defeated with Delicate Tomb. Progress shows on the catalyst's record in the Exotic Catalysts section of the Triumphs screen.
