MIDA Multi Tool Catalyst

Once installed, the catalyst gives the weapon Vital Intel: radar resolution is enhanced and reloads are quicker while combatants are close. A radar-based rifle benefits from a perk that sharpens that radar at close range.

The intrinsic trait is named after the rifle itself, MIDA Multi-Tool: movement speed is boosted and the radar stays active while aiming down sights. On top of that sit its weapon perks. MIDA Software Package: final blows periodically apply modifications such as a faster-handling chip, a barrel for range and stability, optics for target acquisition and an ammo mod whose shots detonate on impact. The other fixed perks on the weapon are Corkscrew Rifling, High-Caliber Rounds and Hand-Laid Stock.

The catalyst is found through victory in the Crucible, and the chance of a drop grows with each further Crucible reset. Its objective is 200 precision final blows against Guardians in the Crucible with the scout rifle.

• MIDA Multi-Tool catalyst, unlocked and delivered to your account, without the masterwork step.
• Extras on the order form: Add Catalyst Masterwork.

• MIDA Multi-Tool already unlocked on the account, because the catalyst is slotted into that rifle.

How do I get the masterwork too?

Use the extra named Add Catalyst Masterwork. Without it the order covers the catalyst itself.

How does the MIDA Multi-Tool intrinsic work?

Movement speed is boosted and the radar stays active while aiming down sights.

Where do I get MIDA Multi-Tool itself?

MIDA Multi-Tool is sold in the Exotic Archive at the Monument to Lost Lights, for an Exotic Cipher and Glimmer. The catalyst fits that weapon alone.
