What the catalyst changes on Forerunner

The Rock is the perk this catalyst brings: for a few seconds after a final blow, an alternate weapon action burns some reserve ammo so that the next grenade you throw becomes a fragmentation grenade. That turns a sidearm kill into a grenade for the next fight.

Full Stop is the intrinsic of Forerunner: extended-range heavy-caliber rounds, full-auto fire with a higher rate of fire, and extra precision damage to unshielded targets. Pace Yourself: tapping the trigger gives the weapon less recoil and better accuracy. The other fixed perks on the weapon are Smallbore, Flared Magwell and Smooth Grip.

Earning the catalyst in the game

The catalyst record names a 30th Anniversary exotic quest as the source and counts 700 targets defeated with Forerunner. In the game data that step is Magnum Opus II from Xûr in Eternity: a high score in Dares of Eternity earns the missing weapon part, and Banshee-44 installs it on Forerunner. This lot covers getting it done on your account.
