What the Parasite catalyst adds

Envious Arsenal is the perk this catalyst brings: hitting targets with both of your other weapons before you ready Parasite refills the launcher from reserves. The launcher feeds on recent kills, so using the other two weapons beforehand is already part of how it is played.

On Parasite, Worm's Hunger works like this: fires Hive worms that explode on impact, with a blast whose size and damage scale with the number of enemies you defeated just before firing. On top of that sit its weapon perks. Worm Byproduct: taking damage from your own worm detonation empowers your weapons for a short time. The other fixed perks on the weapon are Volatile Launch, High-Explosive Ordnance and Composite Stock.

How the catalyst is earned in the game

In the game the catalyst is a drop from Vanguard, Gambit and Crucible playlists, and its objective is to defeat targets with Parasite. Progress shows on the catalyst's record in the Exotic Catalysts section of the Triumphs screen.
