Diablo 4 Path of the Emissary Spiritborn Boots

The boots invoke your primary Spirit Hall's base Core Skill again and again while you move, spaced by the distance you travel, so faster movement means more invocations in the same time.

A second part of the power applies while Ravager is active. In that state, casting Core Skills instantly dashes you to your target, so you cross the gap and strike in one motion.

Each Spiritborn builds around a primary and a secondary Spirit Hall (Jaguar, Eagle, Gorilla and Centipede), and the boots call the base Core Skill of the primary one. Ravager is a Jaguar Focus skill with a cooldown. Its passive part raises your minimum Ferocity, and the active part is a savage roar that makes each attack trigger an extra strike per enemy for a few seconds. The boots always drop with Skill Ranks to Core Skills.

The distance rule means the damage comes from motion: standing still gives you nothing from the boots, and a character with high Movement Speed covers each 50 meters sooner. Ravager's Duration Increase upgrade (2 seconds longer) widens the window in which the dash behavior is on, and Vigor Generation gives 50% more Vigor while Ravager is active.

• Slot and class: Boots, usable by Spiritborn.
• Fixed affixes: it always drops with Primary Core Stat and Skill Ranks to Core Skills.

• Torment I difficulty unlocked.
• The Vessel of Hatred expansion, which brought the Spiritborn class.

Which class can wear Path of the Emissary?

Only the Spiritborn.

Is the dash part of the power always on?

No. It applies only while Ravager is active, so the boots work best when Ravager is on the skill bar.
