A one-to-one talk with an experienced Destiny 2 player. You bring the questions, from armor choices to weapon perks, and the session is sold by the hour.

Key facts

Armor stats	Reworked in The Edge of Fate: Health sets Orb healing and reduces flinching; Melee shortens melee cooldown
Set bonuses	Armor Set Bonuses activate at 2 and 4 pieces of the same set
Gear tiers	Higher-tier gear has increased stats, set bonuses and weapons with additional perks to select; tiers run 1 to 5
Power	New characters start at Power 10; drops come at a 300+ floor; the cap is 550
Ammo	Primary ammo is infinite; Special and Heavy ammo drop when their HUD bars fill, and the Weapons stat sets the speed

What the game gives you to ask about

Since The Edge of Fate armor stats are reworked. Bungie says Health now sets the healing you get from Orbs of Power and cuts flinching, and Melee shortens the melee cooldown. Armor Set Bonuses switch on when you wear two and four pieces of one set, and higher-tier gear has more stats and weapons with more perks to pick. Power starts at 10, drops come from 300, and the cap is 550. Every weapon perk shows a tooltip, which is why many questions are about reading rolls.

Subclass questions

Subclass rules come up often. Bungie says Stasis needs the Beyond Light campaign on Europa, Strand needs the Lightfall campaign on Neomuna, and Prismatic needs The Final Shape campaign in the Pale Heart. Arc, Solar and Void Aspects and Fragments are bought from Ikora at the Tower for Glimmer.
