Expeditions are the pirate treasure digs of Destiny 2: dig up buried riches, fight off raiders and haul the treasure to your Ketch. This lot completes an Expedition, on Nessus, Europa or the Cosmodrome, for 1 to 15 runs.

Key facts

Activity	Expedition, a Fireteam Ops activity: dig up buried pirate riches, fight off raiders and deliver the haul to your Ketch
Locations	Cosmodrome, Europa, Nessus; matchmade and customizable versions
Triumphs	Dig Site (all three locations); Flawless Expedition; Multiple Fronts (Champions on all three); You Know the Drill (Drill Phase within 2 minutes); Marking the Spot; Unburied Treasure
Fireteam Ops	Activities better completed in a fireteam of three; they include strikes, Battlegrounds, Expeditions and Reclaims

The three Expeditions

Bungie lists Expeditions in Fireteam Ops, with versions for the Cosmodrome, Europa and Nessus. Each has a matchmade form and a customizable form. Triumphs reward doing all three (Dig Site), finishing without dying (Flawless Expedition), defeating Champions on all three (Multiple Fronts) and finishing a Drill Phase within two minutes (You Know the Drill).

Playlist and difficulty

Bungie's data describes the Expedition Playlist as repelling roving pirate crews to excavate long-buried treasures. Fireteam Ops lets you customize the difficulty, and the Director guide ties the reward tier to it: Normal gives Tier 1, Advanced Tier 2, Expert Tier 3, Master Tier 4, and Grandmaster and Ultimate Tier 5.

What you get

One or more Expeditions completed, from 1 to 15.
A Day One Team extra and an Express speed choice.

Requirements

Access to Fireteam Ops, which Bungie lists among the Portal Ops activities.
The Expedition destination open: the Cosmodrome and Europa are open to every player, and Nessus is a current destination.
