Flawless Desert Perpetual Raid

• Difficulty: Normal, the standard raid that matches Death-Defiant, or Epic, the harder version that matches Death-Defiant II.
• A complete run of the raid, with the gear its encounters drop on the way.
• Add Whirling Ovation Exotic: the rocket launcher itself added to the order.
• The Edge of Fate Campaign - Legendary: the campaign the raid asks for, if your account has not finished it.

A booster usually starts within about 1 hour, and the no-death clear takes about 6 hours.

Death-Defiant and Death-Defiant II appear in the raid's seal, yet the game marks both as giving no progress toward the Atemporal title, so a flawless clear is about the shader and the exotic odds. The five feat triumphs (Phase Race, Cutthroat Combat, Battalions, Token Limit, Encounter Challenges) raise the Whirling Ovation chance too, but they are a separate goal. The raid holds up to six Guardians, and its standard pool lists six legendary weapons such as Antedate, Intercalary and Lance Ephemeral, the Collective Psyche armor and the Soloist Shell.

• The Edge of Fate owned and its campaign completed, or the campaign extra in the order.
• Service requirement: at least 160 Power, and 300 for the Epic version.

Does a flawless clear count toward Atemporal?

No. Both no-death triumphs carry the game's note that they grant no title progress.

Normal or Epic?

Both pay the same shader and the same boost to the Whirling Ovation chance; the Epic run fills Death-Defiant II instead of Death-Defiant.

Do I get Whirling Ovation for sure?

With Add Whirling Ovation Exotic, yes. Without it, the flawless run improves the odds but the exotic remains a drop.
