What you get

The rank steps you choose, completed on your account by finishing their objectives.
Gear and rewards that the objectives pay out on the way.
A Custom Request option: a Pro reviews your account and builds the order around what is still open.

The ladder

The ranks are New Light, Explorer, Initiate, Scout, Adventurer, Veteran, Elite, Justiciar, Vanquisher, Exemplar and Paragon. Each rank has a set of objectives; the form lists them in groups, from Light Subclasses and Advanced Placement for lower ranks to Pinnacle Ops, Mastery, Grandmaster and Ultimate A+ for higher ones.

Objective types

Examples from the game text: complete three activities on Advanced, Expert or Master difficulty, finish Ops activities that carry a Bonus Focus reward, play activities with a named modifier switched on, stun Unstoppable, Barrier or Overload Champions, earn Tier 2, 3 or 5 reward packages, and complete Conquests from the Seasonal Hub.

Requirements

A Destiny 2 account; Guardian Ranks are available to all players, and some objectives need Expert to Grandmaster Ops, which require Power 300 in matchmaking.

Guardian Ranks FAQ
