Vanguard Alerts are the weekly challenges in the Seasonal Hub, and this lot completes them on your Guardian. The Select Service list offers Specific Activities or All Weekly Activities, and the Activities list has five alerts to tick.

Key facts

Activity	Vanguard Alerts in the Seasonal Hub: weekly challenges for Ops, Pinnacle and raids
Bright Dust	250 per alert, twice a week
Chronologs	200 total, once a week
Reset	Weekly, Tuesday 10:00 PT / 17:00 UTC
Matchmaking	Expert to Grandmaster Ops need Power 300

What you get

The alerts you tick, or the whole weekly set, completed on your account.
The gear and currencies each alert pays.
Self-play (Sherpa) as an extra.

The five alerts

Fireteam Alert 3/3: the weekly challenge for Fireteam Ops, played through Quickplay or Grandmaster runs.
Arena Alert 3/3: the Arena Ops challenge, with matchmaking available.
PvP Alert 3/3: the Control challenge in Crucible Ops.
Grandmaster Alert: the weekly Grandmaster Vanguard challenge.
The Desert Perpetual Normal: the weekly raid challenge.

Payouts

Update 9.7.0 raised the rewards: a Vanguard Alert pays 250 Bright Dust, twice a week, and 200 Chronologs once a week. Rewards in the Alerts list refresh at the weekly reset, on Tuesday at 17:00 UTC. Bungie says Quickplay and Grandmaster Fireteam Ops runs, Quickplay Arena Ops runs and Control matches in Crucible Ops are how the Fireteam, Arena and PvP challenges are completed.

Requirements

The raid challenge needs The Edge of Fate, since The Desert Perpetual is its raid.
Matchmade Ops need Power 300.
