Ghost has a reputation track of his own in The Pale Heart, the destination of The Final Shape, and this lot raises it. You set the rank you are at and the rank you want on a slider that runs from 1 to 17.

Key facts

Vendor	Ghost, vendor of The Pale Heart
Reputation track	Ghost Rank, earned in The Pale Heart after the campaign
How it progresses	Vendor reputation comes from playing activities and from missions and bounties on destinations
Rank rewards in the game data	Pale Heart engrams, a Pale Heart Weapons engram, Enhancement Cores, Enhancement Prisms, a shader, Reset Rank
Related triumph	Inseparable: reset Ghost's vendor rank, in the Pursuits group of The Final Shape triumphs
Expansion	The Final Shape (Year 7); included in Destiny 2: The Collection

How the Ghost track works

Bungie's new-player path for The Final Shape says to earn Ghost reputation and progression after the Pale Heart campaign, exploring and finding secrets as you go.
Since 9 June 2026 vendor reputation moves by playing activities and by missions and bounties on destinations, so the booster works through the Pale Heart.
The Ghost vendor screen in the game data lists rank rewards of Pale Heart engrams, a Pale Heart Weapons engram, Enhancement Cores and Prisms, a shader and a rank reset.
The rank reset is the step that the Inseparable triumph counts.

Where the work happens

The Pale Heart is the Final Shape destination, with Cyst missions to run and secrets to find, and Overthrow is its expansion activity. The booster moves between these to push the Ghost Rank, so the order follows the destination rather than a single activity.

What you get

Reputation Ranks: a slider from rank 1 to rank 17.
Rank progress earned in the Pale Heart by the booster.

Requirements

The Final Shape expansion with its campaign finished, because the Ghost track belongs to the Pale Heart. Destiny 2: The Collection includes the expansion.

Ghost Reputation Boost FAQ

Which triumph uses the Ghost rank reset?

Inseparable, in The Final Shape triumph set, asks for the Ghost vendor rank to be reset.

Do I need the earlier campaigns?

No. The lot needs The Final Shape and its finished campaign.

Does the track reset by itself?

No. The Reset Rank step is a reward on the vendor screen that you claim when the track is full.
