Heliostat is the Ash & Iron exotic mission in which a fireteam storms a Golden Age facility to stop the Conductor from launching a dangerously modified Warsat, and this lot plays it on your Guardian. The Difficulty list runs from Normal Completion to Ultimate Completion and includes solo choices.

Key facts

Mission	Heliostat, an Ash & Iron exotic mission set in a Golden Age facility on Earth
Exotic	Wolfsbane (Solar Sword, heavy ammo, Resurgence Directive)
Conquest	Also a Grandmaster Conquest in the Seasonal Hub
Difficulties	Normal, Pinnacle Ops Rank A (Expert), Solo, Ultimate and Solo Flawless on the form
Group size	Fireteam of up to 3

What you get

Heliostat completed on the Difficulty you pick, once to fifteen times with the Quantity selector.
Wolfsbane, the exotic axe of this mission, treated by the order as a drop rather than a promise.
Self-play (Sherpa) as an extra.

About Wolfsbane

The manifest lists Wolfsbane as a Solar Sword for the Power slot with the Resurgence Directive intrinsic, and the mission blurb calls it the exotic axe you claim. A catalyst record asks you to apply any catalyst through shaping or reshaping.

Difficulties

Update 9.7.0 ties difficulty to a reward grade and tier: Normal B pays Tier 1, Advanced B+ Tier 2, Expert A Tier 3, Master A+ Tier 4 and Grandmaster S or Ultimate S+ Tier 5. Pinnacle Ops Rank "A" is the Expert grade. Ultimate is not available in matchmaking, and Heliostat is also one of the Grandmaster Conquests of the Seasonal Hub.

Requirements

Heliostat open to your account: Bungie lists it among the exotic missions available now, and it arrived with the Ash & Iron update of The Edge of Fate.
