How a run goes

The game sends you ever deeper into the pathways of Riven's Lair for greater challenges and rewards, and each run is laid out differently. The Coil left with the Year 7 vault and later returned in Pinnacle Ops; Update 9.7.0 gave it the progression system that starts easy and ramps to the chosen difficulty.

Grades

Update 9.7.0 ties difficulty to a reward grade and tier: Normal B pays Tier 1, Advanced B+ Tier 2, Expert A Tier 3, Master A+ Tier 4 and Grandmaster S or Ultimate S+ Tier 5. A Rank A completion is the Expert grade. Pinnacle Ops weapons carry Problem Solver, a trait that exhausts Champions, minibosses and bosses after sustained damage and boosts handling and reload speed.

Requirements

The Coil open in Pinnacle Ops; the activity is launched from the Director and is set in the Dreaming City.
Space in your inventory and vault for the loot.
