Reflective Vents: what the perk does

While you slide with full class ability energy, a frontal shield appears and reflects incoming damage. Each reflection depletes your class ability energy by an amount based on the damage that was reflected.

The shield is paid for in class ability energy, so how long it lasts depends on how much damage it has to turn back. Lore text on Antaeus Wards points to a question about believing in the Gaiaforms, the energies within planets.

Antaeus Wards in today's loot

The collection entry of Antaeus Wards has the source line exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops. The piece also appears in the exotic engram previews, which Rahool decodes in the Tower. A character can wear a single exotic armor piece, so with Antaeus Wards on, the other armor slots have to hold non-exotic gear.

What you get

The Titan piece Antaeus Wards (exotic leg armor) and its Reflective Vents perk.
A stat choice in Stat Options: None, High Overall Stats (65+), or a 25+ target for one of Health, Melee, Grenade, Super, Class and Weapons.
Quantity is the Number Of Pieces option (1 to 10), and speed is the Completion Speed option with Normal, Express and Super Express.

Requirements

The Forsaken Pack on your account: in the game data, Antaeus Wards carries the note "Requires Destiny 2: Forsaken Pack" on Xûr's offer of it. Destiny 2: The Collection includes it.

Antaeus Wards FAQ

Can a Warlock put on Antaeus Wards?

No, it belongs to the Titan class. The leg armor is class-locked, so a Titan character is needed to put it on.

What do I need before the shield on Antaeus Wards appears?

Full class ability energy and a slide. The shield is a frontal one, and the damage it reflects drains the energy again.

What does High Overall Stats (65+) mean for Antaeus Wards?

It is one of the Stat Options values. It asks for a copy with a high stat total, while the single-stat values ask for 25+ in one stat.
