Using Beyond The Veil

You get a second Smoke Bomb charge, plus damage resistance whenever you are invisible. When you make an ally invisible, they gain damage resistance while invisible too, and you gain melee energy.

The team benefit appears when you cloak an ally, so the piece suits a Hunter who plays close to the group. Flavor text on Omnioculus refers to seeing the danger even when it cannot see you.

Omnioculus: source in the game

In the collections menu the source of Omnioculus reads exotic armor focusing. Exotic engram previews list the piece as well, and Rahool decodes those engrams in the Tower. Because of the one-exotic-armor rule, wearing Omnioculus means no other exotic helmet, gauntlets, chest armor or leg armor can be worn at the same time.

One copy of Omnioculus, exotic chest armor for Hunters, carrying Beyond The Veil.
Optional stat focus through Stat Options: None, High Overall Stats (65+), or High Health, Melee, Grenade, Super, Class or Weapons Stat (25+).
