Cryosthesia 77K Catalyst

Once installed, the catalyst gives the weapon Cold Efficiency: shattering a frozen target refills the magazine from reserves. That fits the sidearm's freeze-and-shatter loop: the charged shot freezes, and the catalyst pays the ammo back when the frozen target breaks.

The intrinsic of Cryosthesia 77K is LN2 Burst: swapping fire mode after a final blow enables a charged shot. Liquid Cooling: a direct hit from a charged shot freezes the target at once, while indirect hits freeze combatants and slow opposing Guardians. The other fixed perks on the weapon are Polygonal Rifling, Particle Repeater and Polymer Grip.

The quest Stasis Trigger from Banshee-44 is how the catalyst is obtained today. The opening step asks for reverse-engineering the schematics by defeating combatants and Guardians and landing precision final blows. Calibration follows: defeat targets with Cryosthesia 77K, with progress coming from Ops activities and extra progress from Crucible wins. Banshee-44 then gives you the catalyst. The catalyst record counts 700 targets defeated with Cryosthesia 77K. Progress shows on the catalyst's record in the Exotic Catalysts section of the Triumphs screen.

• Cryosthesia 77K catalyst, unlocked and delivered to your account, without the masterwork step.
• Extras on the order form: Self-play (Sherpa) and Add Catalyst Masterwork.

• Cryosthesia 77K already unlocked on the account, because the catalyst is slotted into that sidearm.

Does the order include the masterwork?

Not by default. Add Catalyst Masterwork is a separate extra, and it is the one to choose when you want the masterwork done.

How does LN2 Burst work on Cryosthesia 77K?

Swapping fire mode after a final blow enables a charged shot.

Where do I get Cryosthesia 77K itself?

Cryosthesia 77K is sold in the Exotic Archive at the Monument to Lost Lights, for an Exotic Cipher and Glimmer. Buying it needs Beyond Light. The catalyst fits that weapon alone.
